Support. Serve. Connect.

At IBTX, it’s important that we give back and appreciate the community where we live and work. Through a designated committee, we organize company wide events throughout the year to generously serve and support causes that we believe in.

IBTX Spotlight

San Antonio Food Bank

Fighting Hunger...Feeding Hope

Founded in 1980, The San Antonio Food Bank has quickly grown to serve 58,000 individuals a week in one of the largest service areas in Texas. Their focus is for clients to have food for today but to also have the resources to be self-sufficient in the future.

Fighting hunger is their number one priority but they also serve to educate and provide assistance in many other ways. Achieving this through their variety of programs and resources available to families, individuals, seniors, children, and military members in need.

Solving Homelessness with Family Promise of Irving

Family Promise of Irving is a community-based approach to solving homeless; engaging both the local community and houses of faith in an effort to combat family homelessness. The organization believes that every child and family deserves a roof over their head. IBTX is partnering with Family Promise of Irving, providing volunteer house, food and funds throughout the year. Our efforts are just one way IBTX can help families that have fallen on hard times.

2019 - Dominican Republic Mission Trips

Casas Por Cristo

Casas por Cristo began building homes along the U.S. / México border in 1993, first in Ciudad Juárez. They have since expanded to Ciudad Acuña, MéxicoSan Raymundo, Guatemala; and Santiago, Dominican Republic. To date, Casas has provided over 5,000 families with homes. They are dedicated to meeting the physical need of better housing as a way of also meeting the spiritual need for Jesus Christ.

Helping Restore Ability

Helping Restore Ability was founded as the Arlington Handicapped Association in 1977 by a young man with polio, Sam Provence, and his determined friends. Sam is believed to be the last victim diagnosed with polio in Tarrant County.

As services expanded beyond the city limits, Arlington Handicapped Association was renamed the Handicapped Resource Association in 1988. Beginning in 1999, Arlington Handicapped Association began doing business as Helping Restore Ability, a name that reflects the goals and mission without the implied restrictions of the word ‘handicapped.’ The legal name was changed to “Helping Restore Ability” in 2011.
